As part of a Homeowners Association the course does a nice job of blending member, guest and public play. Not marketed as a must play like some of the newer courses in the area, but our recent golf buddies trip rated it #2 behind Martis Camp and ahead of Edgewood. (No question Edgewood has great Lake Tahoe views and scenery, but the Tahoe Donner course layout is more interesting.)

Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Walking will give you a good workout. Beautiful views in every direction. Greens are large and fast. The new "combo" tees allow you pick from 7 different lengths; from 7,000 at the tips down to 5,000 at the most forward. Excellent practice facility.

This is a good course for intermediate and advanced players. The course layout is challenging and astheticley pleasing (especially if you play after 2:00p.m.).

Surprisingly good. A great alternative to the pricey Coyote Moon.

One of the hardest courses i've ever played, as a 4 handicap my best was a 77. The greens are terrific, yet hard as a rock.
